I came up with the concept for Erotic Gateway in 2001, which is relatively new compared to my original Select Entertainment website www.selectent.com which domain I registered in 1995 and launched the site in November of 1996. It took me over a year to get all of the material together for the first site, as you can imagine Digital Media and the World Wide Web were both in their infancy at that time, so the things we take for granted on computers now, images, sharing information, file management, and so on were big hurtles for early online pioneers.
The thing that was so important about the launch of this site was, it was the first Website of it's kind on Earth. There was the Select Site, and one escort service online on the planet, and it was the first and only site where entertainers could be ordered online.

This was the point in history where if you were online at all you were most likely using a dial up modem, and a company like TIAC or AOL to access anything online. Some of the technology savvy individuals of the time were noted as saying, "The Internet is a fad" "It won't last". I even remember in early 96 certain Techno Dodos saying "You will never get full frame, full motion video over the Internet". Kind of silly thinking back on this era now, Google was still two years away from becoming a thing. Where would we be without Google?
My vision for the full concept of Erotic Gateway is still a little in the future. In the meantime if you feel you would like to contribute any news, information, knowledge, experience, advice, if you would like to have a hand in this sites growth, and development, or recommend pertinent organizations, contributors, or other such input in regards to the sites growth, I am looking for all interested parties, and individuals to lend a hand.
The site is R rated, although many of the links could lead to much X rated material, but the body of the site will be kept relatively mild as far as imagery goes. Definitely an 18+ website, and adhering to all legal guidelines, and regulations, this site will be a catch all for information on all things EROTIC. I still have a long way to go, yet coupled with the other projects I have in development at this time, I would like this to become a place for all adults to gain insight on the World of Erotica.
